Josh Homme, the vocalist/guitarist/band leader for the Queens of The Stone Age, isn'y know as the most relatable of dudes. During 2004 he was charged with assault for confronting Dwarves' frontman Blag Dahlia, he's made his opinion of Miley Cyrus's twerking quite clear, and now he's blasting Jay Z for the rapper's handling of the "Made in America" festival.

"That guy's a kook, you know," he said. "He has his security frisking the bands on the way in."

Homme told the crew that if the Queens were frisked, the band wouldn't be performing.

Although frisking bands performing at the festival sounds like a faux pas to us, Homme seemed to particularly irritable...which is relatively par for the course. Another aspect of the show that was bothering him was the champagne the rapper gave him.

"Forget Jay Z. He also gave us some champagne and then wanted us to take a picture with it," Homme said. "I was like, 'That's not a gift...that's a marketing tool.' I destroyed it, because I thought it was rude overall, you know? And you shouldn't frisk my guys. You should f--- off."

We get what Homme is saying about Jay's vanity, but a free bottle of champagne can't be that offensive. And breaking it?

Queens of The Stone Age have recently been booked to another music festival, and one they'll probably enjoy a little bit more. Homme and company will join Neil Young (a musician Homme DOES enjoy) for the Bridge School Benefit, which will also include a performance from Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young.
