The Cleveland Cavaliers may have lost their first game last night (Oct. 30) despite the return of hometown hero LeBron James, but the Northeast Ohio city was still full of electricity, hype and free music. To celebrate James' return to Cleveland, the city held free shows featuring musical juggernauts Imagine Dragons and Kendrick Lamar.

In a live show that was also aired on TNT, Imagine Dragons gave the live debut of its recently released single "I Bet My Life," but not before throwing plenty of love in the way of James and Cleveland.

"I've got to tell you, I've been a fan of the Cleveland Cavs since I was a tiny little boy. I remember watching the LeBron James documentary with my buddies in high school and thinking, 'that guy's going to go on to do big things.' And I can't tell you how happy I am that he's come back home to Cleveland," said frontman Dan Reynolds before heralding Cleveland for representing what America means to him.

Imagine Dragons weren't the only ones at the Cleveland FanFest, Kendrick Lamar also performed his positive new single "i," which also happens to be the anthem of this year's NBA season.

Lamar's explosive rhymes resonated throughout the outdoor arena where the concert while he screamed out the song's signature lyrics: "I love myself."

"If you love where you're from, make some noise!" Lamar demanded, before the Cleveland crowd roared back:

The return of LeBron was a big night for music and Cleveland. According to Rap-Up, partial Cavs owner Usher sang the national anthem and even little Justin Bieber sat in the crowd at The Q.
