Bob Dylan's grandson, Pablo, embraces his family history by creating music and forges his own path by performing rap.

In 2011, Rolling Stone notes, the artist released his debut mixtape 10 Minutes via SoundCloud. Due to his namesake, a lot of people listened. "When you're 15 years old and you want to do a mixtape, that's a great thing. But normally, you'd put it out and 50 people listen to it, not 500,000."

Nothing much really came from the mixtape, so the rapper disappeared from the public eye for awhile. "Truthfully, I just locked myself in my fuckin' lair, bro," he told RS. "10 Minutes wasn't up to that level of quality that I wanted it to be. It was really important to me to take my time and say, 'Nothing else matters' and if this is what I want to do with my life, I'm going to set out to be the best who's ever done it. I've made music for 16 hours a day for the last three years. It's literally my life."

He's currently working on a wealth of new material, and Dylan has even shared the first single from his 2015 release, a banger titled "Midnight." The rapper's flow isn't anything extraordinary, but it's not bad for a 19-year-old. Unfortunately, Dylan will have to put up with unrealistic expectations because of his grandfather, but there's more than enough musical support in that family, including uncle Jakob Dylan of The Wallflowers

"He's given me a lot of advice," Dylan said about the "Like a Rolling Stone" singer. "There's not an individual I love more, but we do two completely different things and that's great. I love to have him in my corner because he cares about me and I care about him."
