Sons of Anarchy house band The Forest Rangers transformed Bob Dylan's classic "All Along the Watchtower" into a bluesy epic at the end of October for FX's hit show. Tomorrow night (November 11), the group will dive back into the "Like a Rolling Stone" singer's catalog and dust off his 1964 ballad "Boots of Spanish Leather" with a little help from Amos Lee.

Music supervisor Bob Thiele Jr. spoke to Rolling Stone, which is hosting the track exclusively, about the tune and why it fits into the show at this point.

"Amos Lee and The Forest Rangers give us an incredibly powerful and penetrating version of Bob Dylan's song of tortured love sung by Amos Lee," he said. "Jax's pain is palpable. Tara is gone. Forever. And Amos' beautiful voice tells the sad tale of lovers who will never meet again. Greg Leisz's pedal steel guitar helps tell this story. And Forest Rangers Phil Shenale, Davey Faragher and Matt Chamberlain supply a stoic restraint that helps create this world of sorrow."

"Having Amos Lee convey this emotion is yet one more musical highlight for The Forest Rangers," he added.

Lee is one of several vocalists who has teamed up with The Forest Rangers over the years. Noah Gunderson, Audra Mae and Alison Mosshart have all lent their voices to songs for the show. Even Katey Sagal, who plays Gemma Teller on the show, has sung a few with the band.

Other songs the band has covered in the past include "What a Wonderful World (see below)," "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "Baby, Please Don't Go."
