Billy Corgan and the Smashing Pumpkins are going to get some all-star help on an upcoming international tour leg.

The frontman announced former Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave drummer Brad Wilk will hop on board with The Killers bassist Mark Stoermer for a handful of shows this winter.

"We're absolutely thrilled and humbled to have Brad and Mark helping us out with these shows," Corgan said in a statement (via Rolling Stone). "[A]nd if our rehearsals are any indication, they should be one-of-a-kind."

Corgan and co. have been busy dropping previews for their forthcoming album Monuments to an Elegy (due Dec. 9) — "Tiberius" being the most recently released track.

There are currently four official dates for the Wilk-and-Stoermer lineup, and Rolling Stone reports that San Francisco and Chicago gigs will soon be added to list.

Here is the sked:

11/30: Berlin, Germany @ Kesselhaus
12/05: London, UK @ Koko's
12/06: Paris, France @ Le Trabendo
12/08: New York, NY @ Webster Hall

In related news, Corgan recently announced via Twitter that he's done with the wrestling company he co-founded in 2011.

The Chicago Tribune also recently reported (via Billboard) that Corgan is working on a "20-minute musical" based on "a religious rite in Ancient Greece."

So, you know, there's that.
