Just yesterday, experimental hip-hop producer Flying Lotus shared a new track from the upcoming re-release of Grand Theft Auto V called "Medication Meditation," featuring Krayzie Bone. Today, FlyLo is back with "Masquatch," another weird yet incredible song from the soundtrack, featuring underground hip-hop visionary DOOM (aka MF DOOM, aka Viktor Vaughn, aka King Geedorah). The track's extremely brief running time (it comes it under two minutes) is reminiscent of DOOM's classic Madlib collaboration Madvillain, and its abstract, hookless production wouldn't sound out of place on their Madvillainy LP.

"Masquatch" is featured in the re-released version of Grand Theft Auto V as part of one of the game's fictional radio stations FlyLo FM. 162 new songs were added to the soundtrack, as well as 59 brand songs written specifically for the game. These new songs will be released on Dec. 9 in a limited edition box set, spanning six records or three CDs. Other artists who have contributed new music to the soundtrack include A$AP Rocky, Yeasayer, Wavves, Tyler, the Creator, and Twin Shadow.

In addition to Flying Lotus' leaked tracks from Grand Theft Auto V, both Freddie Gibbs and Jamie Lidell have also shared their contributions to the game.

Flying Lotus' most recent album You're Dead! was released on Oct. 6, and is the producer's fifth studio album overall, his first since 2012's Until The Quiet Comes. The album features collaborations with Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Thundercat, Niki Randa, and Angel Deradoorian of Dirty Projectors.

DOOM's most recent solo album Born Like This was released back in 2009.
