We recently told you how Rosie O'Donnell and Whoppi Goldberg have been clashing on nearly everything while trying to work together as co-hosts on ABC's The View. The show has been in a total state of flux this season with Barbra Walters gone from the roundtable and two new ladies trying to find their footing behind such heavyweights as O'Donnell and Goldberg. Unfortunately, in all of the chaos the ratings have taken a significant dip and both stars are blaming each other.

According to Radar Online, rumor has it that O'Donnell's going to be leaving pretty quickly if things don't turn around, fast. A good deal of the conflict has come from O'Donnell wanting to table and discuss some of the serious topics that are on the tip of everyone's tongue these days. Rather than dig in, Goldberg has tried her best to avoid a real conversation about Bill Cosby or the situation in Ferguson. Trying to avoid such things seems to go against the premise of the show and O'Donnell is fuming.

Interestingly enough, The View became part of ABC News this fall which means that the network considers it a news source so these controversial topics are exactly what should be tabled on a daily basis. O'Donnell has tried to tackle them full speed ahead but the rest of the panel seems timid at best rather than actually weighing in on things.

Can you blame O'Donnell's frustration? While Goldberg doesn't want to offend any of her friends, she's also missing out on an opportunity to create really good, potentially ground-breaking television, don't you think? Do you think that O'Donnell will choose to stick around or is she instead going to find that escape clause that is no doubt built into her contract? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
