A week after Karrueche Tran tweeted that she was a "single lady," later clarifying it had to do with her involvement on the show Single Ladies, ex-boyfriend Chris Brown says he's single. The "Loyal" singer made it pretty clear that he wasn't talking about a TV show either. Brown used some of his stage time at Power 106's Cali Christmas concert in Los Angeles to insult Tran and put an end to the rumors, Vibe notes. He's single and indeed ready to mingle.
"How many single ladies we got in here tonight," he said, getting a loud response from the female portion of the crowd. "Well, I'm single too. Fuck that bitch." Check out the video below via TMZ.
Tran took to Twitter to make sure everyone knew that she actually cut Brown loose.
Things seemed copacetic between the pair in October when Brown stopped by Hot 97.
"It's been almost five years. She's straight. I dig her man. She's dope," he said. "I feel like, especially being in this industry, you just need somebody that understands you; who understands who you are personally except for your name ... Me and her have a real connection as like best friends on top of our intimacy. At the end of the day, me and her have a great relationship. We're best friends."
Back in July, Tran attended the BET Awards with Brown to the dismay of ex-flame Rihanna. After Brown tweeted his excitement about his new album X, which came out in September, RiRi fired back.
"B--CH, I will die, be born again, die and be born again before I do a song with you B--CH," she posted along with a photo of Joseline from Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta.
