Arcade Fire's highly anticipated album Reflektor finally hit stores yesterday, but the publicity campaign still rolls on. After a series of "secret" shows under the "Reflektor" moniker, appearances on late night television and an early stream of the effort among other teasers, the band played an album release show last night at Capitol Records in Los Angeles.

To snag a ticket to the show, fans had to get creative in a series of challenges via the Music Experiment that included making Arcade Fire GIFs and memes, drawing the Reflektor symbol in the streets using sidewalk chalk, Instagraming the costume that they had planned to wear to the show, creating a 15-second Reflektor video, explaining what Reflektor means in six words via Twitter, taking selfies next to the Reflektor symbol, tweeting Reflektor-themed wallpaper for the Ultrabook and making Reflektor art out of old CDs.

Luckily, for those less-creative fans, the band streamed the show in full online. Part of the set, specifically "Flashbulb Eyes" and "Afterlife" also aired on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

The band will perform one more U.S. show at Los Angeles' Palladium before heading overseas for European dates.
