Multi-talented instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and film director Claire Elise Boucher, better known as Grimes, is getting into the holiday spirit. In a wacky new video she posted on her YouTube channel, the "Go" singer is joined by "step bro" Jay Worthy and their siblings to make an outrageous song about the Christmas holiday: "Christmas Song II Grinch."

Fit with axes, random clips flashing across the screen and grainy home-movie-style visuals, the video encompasses the spirit and sloppiness at the end of a holiday night with friends and family.

As per a tumblr post, Grimes and Co. made the song in less than two hours, which is rather impressive. You can watch the video above and read the tumblr post below.

Grimes recently announced in response to her June single "Go" that she had scrapped her album entirely "because it sucked" and was working on something new. Many fans have been eagerly awaiting her follow-up album to the 2012 Visions, and with that news, they may be waiting a lot longer.

happy holidayz

first off this song contains swearing so it might not be [for] all ages

Anyway — i like to periodically release songs since my album is taking so long and i make a lot of songs that i wouldn't put on an album but i nonetheless enjoy so thats what this is.

me and my step bro jay worthy make an annual christmas song with our siblings in order to avoid obligatory dinner. this is NOT a single from the upcoming album, not a serious piece of art in any capacity and not an official grimes release

also -made this song in prob less than 2 hours so please excuse my terrible production, + it is not mixed or mastered.
