It's Monday and we're already talking about the weekend. But not because we're bored -- this is a fun series we're starting, and it takes a little planning! This weekend marks the beginning of our Saturday Night Fever series, which is essentially your party playlist for the weekend. Every weekend we will have a different playlist theme, because all party songs are not created equal. But to start off fairly traditionally, the theme will be Remixes. This doesn't mean every song has to be a dance song, but many of them will end up making you move. (Did anyone ever really listen to the R. Kelly's original "Ignition"?)

Songs will be chosen to be party-worthy very scientifically. Just kidding, they will based on this test: the song has been played in a party-like setting, and has received positive feedback in the form of dancing, head nods, and "What is this? It's good."

That's where you come in. All the songs aren't just coming from the Music Times staff. We want to include your choices. Leave your favorite remix song in the comments section and we will test them out in a party setting at the end of the week. The one that receives the most party praise will end up as one of the songs on our Saturday Night Fever playlist. Silly, you say? We hope so.

There are no restrictions on era of song, country of origin, obscure versus smash hit et cetera. Please don't promote your own music, but if it's your friend's song, feel free!

Keep in mind that party songs include the end-of-the-night songs when you come down from the pump-up songs. The remix sky is the limit. So here we go, sound off...

What's your favorite remix party song?
