Lady Gaga doesn't just have a successful, hilarious run on Saturday Night Live to celebrate today. The "Do What U Want" singer has a No. 1 album. Today (Nov. 17), it was announced that Gaga's third studio album Artpop debuted at the top of the charts in the UK, surpassing new releases from Celine Dion, Little Mix and more.

According to The Official Albums Chart, Gaga easily slipped into the No. 1 spot. Fueled by the album's two lead singles "Applause" and "Do What U Want," as well as successful (and scandalous) performances on the UK version of The X Factor.

In a top two that is likely to mirror the US releases next week, Eminem's latest effort The Marshall Mathers LP 2 came in at No. 2, and new releases from the aforementioned Celine Dion and Little mix came in at Nos. 3 and 4, respectively.

The No. 1 debut of Artpop isn't the only musical success Gaga has to celebrate in the UK. "Do What U Want" (feat. R. Kelly) also debuted at No. 9 on the singles chart overseas.

Artpop's UK No. 1 isn't the only time the album is due to top the charts around the world, Gaga is coming for the top spot on the Billboard 200, as well. According to Billboard, Artpop should become Gaga's second No. 1 album in the United States this week, with projected sales of 240,000 to 260,000 copies. That should be more than enough to best Eminem's latest effort MMLP2, which dominated the charts last week.
