Tyler, The Creator is not known for keeping his thoughts and emotions to himself. His most recent appearance on the Eric Andre Show reveals a very real side of the rapper — a side that shamelessly is able to cry real human tears during an interview.
Eric Andre's talk show on Adult Swim has featured many different special guests, including Wiz Khalifa, a couple weeks back. This week, Tyler the Creator's turn had the performer in tears, literally.
The interview starts off with Tyler pushing over Andre's desk in a dramatic fashion, all with his signature sly smile on his face, before sitting down next to Eric Andre to conduct an interview. In the episode, Tyler is introduced to his "father," who also happens to be an out-of-character unfit to be the Creator's father in real life, but regardless, ends up getting an emotional reaction out of Tyler.
The Eric Andre Show is gaining a reputation for having its guests do some pretty strange things. For example, Action Bronson and Killer Mike were forced to doing a rap battle while on treadmills, and the host pushing a naked man's butt in Mac DeMarco's face. All for the sake of interesting, funny television!
Tyler, The Creator also announced this week that he will be voicing a character on the Adult Swim network for a new musical animated film titled The Wizard of Watts, alongside Chande The Rapper and Erykah Badu.
The film is an extension of the show Black Dynamite, and has already aired its debut on the Cartoon Network.
