Tyler The Creator wants you to look towards him as a source of inspiration. In a new letter penned to his fans on Facebook, the 23-year old Odd Future member has shared his thoughts on ignoring negatively and valuing self-importance. He stressed the importance of being your own self and following the dream that you want to pursue, leaving the people behind who will just drag you down. It is a powerful message from an artist who has developed a reputation as a lyricist and man who is both very opinionated and potent with his spoken word (via Pigeons & Planes).

Preaching to the message of self-worth, he implores, "Do it for yourself, I believe in everyone because I believe in myself. F--k reaching for the stars, thats setting a limit, f--k those. Some of you dont like yourself. Some of you arent comfortable with yourself. Thats so fucking sad. Stop that s--t. But some of you cant. Thats why yall ask for likes on instagram and s--t, cause yall self esteem so f--king low. cut that s--t out and start liking yourself."

Tyler the Creator sums up his message towards the end of his letter by pronouncing, "I guess what im trying to say is I want everyone to win. I want everyone to smile, I want everyone to be in a good mood and as annoying and always jumping around like me cause im so f--king happy and grateful."

Taking some time to go on vacation seems to be making Tyler The Creator more introspective. We will see if this inspires him to get back in studio when he get back and make some inspirational music.

This same self-determinist sentiment was echoed in his cover story interview with The Fader where he stated, "N--gas choose their own destinies...I want everyone to f--king win. If everyone wins, everyone is smiling. And if everyone is smiling, everyone is happy."
