No matter whether he's starring in a new music video, starring in one of his buddy's music videos, or appearing in Los Angeles with Missy Elliott, G-Dragon is an attention grabber. That factor, along with a significant amount of talent, led the Korean performer to winning four prizes at the Mnet Asian Music Awards, held in Hong Kong over the weekend.

Dragon won Artist of The Year, Best Male Performer, Video of The Year for the aforementioned "Coup d'Etat" and Best Dance Performer. Dragon also announced that he will have more new music in store, including some starring Justin Bieber, ready for 2014.

The Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) are somewhat the Asian version of the MTV Music Awards, and, although Americans dominated the telecast of the MTV European Music Awards, Europeans were heavily represented at MAMA, including performances from Ylvis and Icona Pop (Stevie Wonder represented the U.S.). The awards all found their ways to performers from the continent however, many from the Chinese pop scene and the huge Korean K-Pop scene.

The MAMA's have been around since 1999, but have seen rapid growth since last year. The 2013 ceremony featured four times as many corporate sponsors as last year's event.
