Slipknot is planning to make your spring a little heavier — the band just announced a handful of U.S. tour dates with fellow headbangers Hatebreed. The band will tour behind their most recent album, .5: The Gray Chapter, which was released in October. Fan club members can order tickets now followed by a general public sale starting Jan. 23, Blabbermouth reports.

The short jaunt will kick off in Pensacola, Florida, April 29 and wrap about two weeks later in Grand Rapids, Michigan, May 16. Check out the new dates below.

Slipknot is currently overseas on the European leg of the Prepare for Hell tour. The boys will make appearances at a slew of festivals, including Fort Rock in Ft. Myers, Florida; Welcome to Rockville in Jacksonville, Florida; Carolina Rebellion in Concord, North Carolina; Northern Invasion in Somerset, Wisconsin; and Rock on the Range in Columbus, Ohio. They are also scheduled to appear at this year's Download Festival in the U.K. and Hellfest in France.

Slipknot's .5: The Gray Chapter is the band's second album to hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 — their 2008 effort, All Hope Is Gone, also conquered the charts.

Corey Taylor recently said the band is talking about their next album. Guitarists Jim Root and Mick Thompson want to hit the studio following the tour and release a new album soon.

"We're talking about it. We don't want to rush right in and do anything. Now that we have told this story that we wanted to tell, we're definitely thinking about it. Time will tell," Taylor said. "This band has a habit of touring itself into the ground and it's not an easy show to do. By the time we're done touring with this [.5: The Gray Chapter], we might need some time away, but you never say never."
