Gucci Mane can't stop, won't stop. Even from behind bars Gucci still remains among the most prolific rappers in the game. Now he teams up with fellow Atlanta rapper Young Thug to deliver a slow jam "Heart Attack" that is somewhat different from the recent material slowly making its way out the "Cartel Talk" rapper's vault of unreleased music.
Produced by Zaytoven, Gucci flips his bombastic trap anthems for a slow jam, or an attempt at one. He still can't seem go a song without Lex Luthor samples and an excessive amount of 808s, but the combo of him and Young Thug works. Young Thug sings the hooks and verse one while Gucci finishes out the track with solid wordplay in the second verse.
His voice makes it a little odd for this genre of track, but he makes it work with lines like, "Lamborghini with the doors up, pull up and she chose up/Froze up so she chose us/Better ask these hoes, they know us/She watching me like a movie, Gucci Mane got his numbers up."
Thug plays to the sympathetic side of a woman with the final line of his hook, "Picture me not doing well from a heart attack, from a heart attack."
Thugger croons towards some unknown female, "Gotta have my tinder on her/She don't remember that designer on her, I don't remember how many times I boned her/And she the bomb like Lotus Flower on her, I ain't snitchin' but I told her I really wanna change to a pimp."
According to Boombox, the song is scheduled to appear on Guap's upcoming artist album Brick House 3 that is slated for release sometime later this month. He will be released from prison at some point towards the end of 2016. Listen to the song below via Audiomack.
