Britney Spears, the Britney Jean singer, says she's working on a new album but her focus is on her kids right now. Spears relayed in a recent interview that the album is coming "slowly but surely."

"There's a lot going on with my kids and schools and, you know, adding new sports and stuff like that. I'm gonna try to do my best to do an amazing album, but it's not my full priority right now," Spears told Billboard in an interview. "Kids can drive you crazy," she laughed.

According to Billboard, Britney Jean debuted at No. 4 on Billboard 200 in December 2013. Spears has performed nearly 100 shows at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas since then and grossing more than $42 million in ticket sales.

In regards to an upcoming collaboration song with Iggy Azalea, Spears told E! News,

"You'll have to wait and see. It's really exciting though. It's very cool, I'll say that ... I saw her song on TV and I was like a kid in a candy store," Spears relayed. "I was like, 'I love Iggy!' I was like, 'I love that video. I wanna work with her.' And it was really weird, because a week after that her manager was like, 'She's a huge fan of yours.' I was like, 'Let's do something together,' so it worked out."

As far as a new full-length album, Spears' manager Larry Rudolph told Billboard that a new album is not a priority at this time.

"We're not really talking seriously about a new album yet," Rudolph said. "Albums just aren't as important in the digital age as they used to be. Britney will get to one eventually, but not right now."

In the meantime the singer has declared her focus will be on her sons Sean Preston, 9, and Jayden James, 8.
