During the Season 10 premiere of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the only topic for discussion involving Kim Kardashian was her trying to get pregnant with baby No. 2. It was made clear to fans that getting pregnant again might be a bit difficult and this is certainly going to be one of the main storylines of the entire season. But is it all for show? It seems some of those closest to Kardashian think her sudden desire to get pregnant is more about television ratings than anything else.
According to a report by Radar Online, "Kim is absolutely terrified of getting fat and she thinks that if she got fat again, she would not be able to handle the criticism. This whole 'struggle to conceive' thing also makes for good ratings because she thinks that people can relate," said an insider.
Let's be real here: Most of KUWTK is scripted and meticulously plotted out so the show will continue sucking in viewers so an infertility battle is certainly relatable. Unfortunately, Kardashian is exactly the person to take something that would upset most women and turn it into a way to keep herself front and center.
While the inability to get pregnant may be something she has in common with many, her unique parenting style has taken on a lot of criticism in recent months.
