It's only been a year since British alt-rockers Biffy Clyro released its sixth studio album Opposites but fans will soon be able to hear more new, unreleased music from the band soon. Lead singer Simon Neil has revealed that the "Black Chandelier" group will release an album full of B-sides and album cuts later this year.

According to NME, Biffy Clyro will drop the B-sides album sometime in 2014. Fittingly, the release is called Similarities.

"We still have four or five songs from the album that no one's heard yet, so it'll be nice to put those out. We'll put something out called Similarities. That will have 18 songs, I think," Neil told Kerrang!

Similarities has yet to receive an official release date in both the UK and the US.

Of course, the prolific band can't just be releasing a B-sides album in the coming years, and Neil also spoke on releasing a brand-new album. However, don't expect anything for some time.

"We've got about four songs written on piano at the moment and we have about six or seven riffs, too. The genesis of the next album is there, I suppose," he said. "I'm not sure these new songs will make the next record or not. I think we'll record the next album in 2015."

Before releasing Similarities or any new album, Biffy Clyro fans can catch the band at the 2014 Isle of Wright Festival. Biffy Clyro will be headlining alongside Calvin Harris and Rudimental.
