One Direction will be down a member for its remaining three tour dates. Zayn Malik has departed the current leg of the On The Road Again Tour for its final three days in Asia to fly back home to the U.K. and be with family after rumors surfaced over the last few days that he has been cheating on his fiancée, Perrie Edwards of Little Mix.

Yesterday (March 18), Malik was spotted dancing in a Thai club and holding hands with a mysterious blonde woman, who was notably not Edwards. The incriminating shots (seen over at OhNoTheyDidnt) show Malik and the woman embracing and holding hands at a venue in Phuket, Thailand.

The incident then led Malik to address the cheating rumors on his sparsely used Twitter, calling those who say he's stepping out on Edwards "jealous f*cks."

But, now, it seems like the pressure has become too much for the 22-year-old pop megastar, and he's now left the 1D tour in support of the band's latest album FOUR.

Now, One Direction's U.K. PR manager, Simon Jones, has announced that Malik has left the tour due to mounting stress. "1D statement: Zayn has been signed off with stress and is flying back to the UK to recuperate. The band wish him well and will continue with their performances in Manila and Jakarta," he wrote.

According to The Sun (via The Mirror), the pressure of fame is getting to be too much for Malik, who maintains that he has done nothing wrong in his relationship.

"Zayn finds it tougher than the rest of his band-mates dealing with fame. Having his every movement scrutinized causes great anxiety and the pictures which surfaced with the fan yesterday was the final straw," a source close to 1D said. "He did nothing wrong but the amount of criticism he received was simply too much. He needs to get away."
