It appears as if Jamie xx finale has an album on the way. The xx member is the subject of the the latest cover story from UK dance magazine Mixmag, which says the "Beat For" producer is slated to release his first full-length LP, In Colour, sometime in June via Young Turks. According to Billboard, the album will include the already released singles, "Sleep Sound" and "Girl," as well as unreleased collaborations with xx guitarist-vocalist Romy Madley Croft and electronic trailblazer, Four Tet.

No definitive date has been given for when In Colours will be released in June, nor is a more complete tracklist available.

The imprint of XL Recordings, based out of London, has been a home for Jamie xx for quite some time, releasing many of his singles including "Sleep Sound" and Girl" back in May 2014. The label was also the home for his remix album of Jamaican activist and singer Gil Scott-Heron's 2010 LP, I'm New Here, titled We're New Here, that was released just a few months before Heron's death in 2011.

Jamie xx has been active on his own outside of the xx for several years now, but back in November 2014, the group wrote an open letter to their fans saying that they were working on new music around the world -- in Iceland, London and Texas.

"The whole process is a big adventure and we can't wait for a time when we'll be able to share the music with you," they explained.

With this much new xx music coming hopefully in 2015 -- the Jamie xx album seemingly confirmed for this year and the xx working on new music -- it should be a great year for fans of the group.
