Patti LaBelle has showcased her moves in Dancing With The Stars, taking on 50 Cent's hip-hop hit "In Da Club" for the dance competition show.

Veteran music diva Labelle recently suffered a leg injury but that did not prevent the 70-year-old from busting out moves to "In Da Club."

Prior to DWTS, LaBelle participated in a popular interview with Oprah, sharing what life is like for her now.

In LaBelle's 2013 interview, she explained,

"I've been shut down. Run down. Talked about. Dogged out," LaBelle told Oprah, fighting back tears. "But that never stopped be from being the true me that's here and will be here. I could never not be happy about my life. All the things that I've been out of and through, I'm so strong now Oprah, I don't need to worry now about anything."

She added, "I have nothing to prove ... nothing to prove."

LaBelle may have nothing to prove, but she showed that she still has moves and likes to have a good time. DWTS judge Bruno Tonioli compared LaBelle's "In Da Club" routine to Cookie Lyon of Empire, played by Taraji P. Henson. He declared, "So Cookie! So Empire, absolutely hot!"

LaBelle had a cameo in the recent Empire season finale. For Jussie Smollett who plays Jamal Lyon on the show, it was a dream come true to have the opportunity to sing alongside LaBelle. In an interview with USA Today, Smollett revealed, "My mother, when my voice was changing, would make me rehearse with Patti LaBelle and Aretha Franklin to be able to hit the high notes, to get my through my voice changing. And I hated doing that," he told USA Today. "But I loved them, I loved their music. And so to be able to sing with Patti LaBelle, it's just full circle, it's unbelievable."

At the conclusion of her DWTS performance, LaBelle received a 28 out of 40, as reported by Complex.
