Pharrell Williams can be happy once again. The smooth R&B juggernaut has returned to the summit of the UK's Single Charts after one week away.

Pharrell's "Happy," which ended 2013 atop the UK charts, was knocked from the No. 1 spot last week courtesy of Pitbull and Ke$ha's "Timber" (which also happened to be the No. 1 song in the US). That track exceeded sales expectations for the first week of the year by moving 139,000 digital downloads.

Now though, Pharrell reclaimed his rightful place for the week of Jan. 13 by selling over 107,000 copies of "Happy" in the UK. The Despicable Me 2 track with the 24-hour music video sold enough to knock the party-friendly country/rap song from the summit.

"Timber" has now fallen to the No. 2 spot overseas.

The top five songs in the UK remain familiar fare for British music fans. Avicii's "Hey Brother" comes in at No. 3, followed by Jason Derulo's "Trumpets" at No. 4 and Fuse ODG's "Million Pound Girl (Badder Than Bad)" in the fifth spot.

Meanwhile, the album chart in the UK contains a friendly face. Ellie Goulding's Halcyon, which has been on the chart for 66 weeks remains at No. 1. She's followed by Beyoncé at No. 2, Gary Barlow's Since I Saw You Last in the third spot, John Newman's Tribute at No. 4 and Bastille's Bad Blood at No. 5.
