Janelle Monáe shared her new song called "Yoga" in collaboration with Jidenna. The new song is in anticipation for Monáe's forthcoming EP called Wondaland Presents The EEPHUS on Monáe's Wondaland label. Monáe's label recently entered a joint venture with Epic Records.

In an interview with Billboard, Monáe's manager Mikael Moore shared his thoughts on Jidenna and the other artists under Monae's Wondaland label.

"It's not just one type of artist, but there's a connective tissue," Moore said. "It's about the collective rather than individuals — Janelle is the proprietor, but they're partners with her."

"The Electric Lady" shared her inspirations in creating this label.

"We looked at what Puff and Jay Z have done, Jack White and Prince as well," Monáe said, Billboard reported. "But I'm also really inspired by strong women in business, like Mellody Hobson and Queen Latifah."

Billboard also reported that Wondaland piqued the interest of many major labels but Monáe and all the artists collectively decided to join forces with Epic Records following a meeting the L.A. Reid, the CEO and Sylvia Rhone, the president.

"I walked into the studio and all of Janelle's acts were in there together, they all looked like stars and they were ready to go," Reid said according to Billboard. "I actually met her many years ago when she was a background singer for one of Big Boi's artists. I wasn't fortunate enough to sign her at the time, so I wasn't going to let Wondaland get away."

He also added,

"Janelle is a boss! She's the first female label boss that I've met who is like P. Diddy and Jay Z and Andre Harrell — she's the first female cut from that cloth."
