Each and every week we put together our favorite tracks that had premiered a few days prior into one magnificent mixtape to share with you and your friends. This time around we've decided to share new songs from The National, Future Islands, Hot Chip, Tanlines and more right here!

Check out the latest in entertainment news right here!

We'd like to open this week's mixtape with a special song from The Rolling Stones. We admit, it's not a new song, but it's definitely new in the sense that we've never heard it before! Listen to the previously unreleased acoustic version of "Wild Horses" right here:

Breakout musical act Future Islands this week debuted two brand new tracks during a live performance, and we're so happy to say that we have the videos of these new songs to share with you this week! Not only are these songs pretty great, but you get to see frontman Samuel T. Herring doing his signature moves on stage! Check out the new tunes "The Chase" and "Haunted" right here:

Speedy Ortiz has always been a heavier, darker indie rock band, but on the Boston band's newest song "Puffer," we get to hear just how gritty they can truly get. We're used to their grunge influence, but this new song adds vocal hooks over guitars that are just here to make noise. It's one of the strangest, best things we've heard in a while. Take a listen to this new song right here:

We also heard some great new collaborations this week, so take a listen to some of our favorites right here:

Listen to Robert Smith of The Cure and Orbital'Paul Hartnoll come together on "Please" right here!

Listen to a cover of Elliott Smith's "Miss Misery" from Jessica Lea Mayfield and Seth Avett right here!

This next one isn't a direct collaboration, but remixes are definitely two artists coming together, so we think it belongs! Check out Panda Bear's remix of Interpol's "All The Rage Back Home" right here!

Hot Chip is back, which is pretty incredible in itself, but the electronic outfit's new songs are proving to be some of the coolest songs of the year. Their new album, Why Make Sense? hits shelves on May 18, but this week we were treated to a great music video for the new song "Need You Now." Watch this new music video right here:

New York's electopop duo Tanlines has been showing signs of new direction on their upcoming album, Highlights, and this week we were treated to another example of this in the song "Invisible Ways." While we can still pick up on the band's signature features including crooning vocals and pop-influenced composition, we are definitely noticing more guitars rather than electronic samples this time around. Take a listen to this new song from Tanlines right here:

The National surprised us all this week by dropping the unreleased track "Sunshine on My Back." According to a fan newsletter, the song wasn't used on their last album, Trouble Will Find Me, and comes free with and rental or purchase of The National's documentary Mistaken For Strangers. This track also features guest vocals from Sharon Van Etten. Listen to this new song right here:

Well, spring is finally here, and we think that music is a great way to celebrate this fact! So go out and enjoy this weather with these new songs in your ears. Or, you could share this new mixtape with a friend that you think needs to enjoy the new season and the warmer weather that is slowly, but surely creeping back into out lives.
