The first five categories for the 2015 Billboard Music Awards were announced this morning, April 7. Ludacris joined Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy to announce the finalists on ABC's Good Morning America. According to Billboard, the first five of 41 categories announced by Ludacris and Wentz on GMA are Top Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Female Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album and Top Hot 100 Song.

Aside from announcing the finalists, Wentz also built anticipation for the upcoming Fall Out Boy performance at the awards show.

"We're gonna play our song 'Uma Thurman' for the first time on live TV, and our buddy Wiz Khalifa is going to come out and do something with us," Wentz said, according to Billboard.

Ludacris and Chrissy Teigen will host the Billboard Music Awards, produced by Dick Clark Productions. The show will air live from Las Vegas Sunday, May 17, from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. on ABC.

The rest of the finalists will be revealed later today. Teigen will join Empire's Jussie Smollett to announce the rest of the finalists during a press conference. A Twitter Q&A hosted by Smollett and Teigen will follow the press conference.
