A$AP Rocky's highly anticipated new album now appears to have a new release date. According to a new report, the effort is slated to drop in early May rather than the May 26 release date that had surfaced earlier this month via Amazon's pre-order page. Although nothing has been confirmed by the rapper, HitsDailyDouble, the site which calculates album sales, shows that At.Long.Last.A$AP will arrive on May 12.

Meanwhile, Rocky dropped his latest single "M's" last week. The track is expected to appear on A.L.L.A. New material has slowly been surfacing from the Harlem rapper over the past few months. He unveiled the music video for his single "Lord Pretty Flacko Jodye 2" earlier in the year and dropped "Multiply" late last year.

In an interview with Vibe last month, Rocky talked about the inspiration behind the new album.

"The A.L.L.A. is because I was named after the God MC himself, Rakim Allah. And, I'm just basically saying it's a return of the real s**t," he told them. "I'm not here to swag it out. I ain't here catwalk it. I'm here to just do me, and if y'all don't like my s**t,- f**k it. I'm on me so hard right now. I'm making music and experimenting, making sounds that I never even knew existed. Not to make it sound like this album is going to be a circus in a box or something. But I really pushed myself this time. I secluded myself [for] six months. In another country with the phones off."

The album was recorded at both Red Bull Studios in London and at Sound Factory in Los Angeles. The full LP will feature the likes of Lykke Li, FKA Twigs, Pimp C, Juicy J, Clams Casino and potentially others according to an interview with Billboard. A$AP Yams, who died of an accidental drug overdose, will be listed as an executive producer on the album alongside Danger Mouse and Juicy J.
