Ty Dolla $ign, Charlie XCX and Tinashe have shared the music video of their collaboration "Drop That Kitty," which is expected to appear on his upcoming LP Free TC. The trio performed the track live on television Sunday night, April 12, during the MTV Movie Awards, and now the world has the official visual treatment. It follows the trio as they ride around in cars and on bikes with large cat heads obscuring supporting female actors, while Tinashe and Charli XCX show you how to drop that kitty to the Stargate- and Cashmere Cat-produced beat. Dolla $ign enlists a few of his friends for cameos toward the end as the guy-girl ratio evens out with "CoCo"-loving rapper O.T. Genasis making an appearance with beatsmith DJ Mustard and Wiz Khalifa, blunt in hand.

Though the video seemed pretty straightforward with the trio rapping/singing their parts and doing only a little movement on bikes and cars, there were some mishaps on set.

"I nearly crashed a chopper bike and died," Charli explained to MTV News. "And also that's such a stupid thing to do because everyone can ride a bike apart from me. They had to put a tricycle, like what kids use -- stabilizers -- I had to have stabilizers on my chopper, which was not cool at all."

Charli was not alone with her own struggles that day. Tinashe battled something else seemingly far more nefarious.

"It did start raining, so you know when it comes to hair and makeup and rain it's nearly a near-death experience," she said.

"Drop That Kitty" is expected to be a single from Dolla $ign's upcoming album Free TC. There have been conflicting reports that the LP will be released in June with a pieced-together video seemingly showing a June 2 video, but Hot New Hip Hop is reporting that Atlantic Records is refuting that claim. We will see how this whole thing shakes out and fans should expect new music soon.
