In preparation for their big screen Meet-Up at the Movies, the Grateful Dead unveiled a teaser video of the band performing a relaxed rendition of Jerry Garcia's solo hit, "Sugaree."

The track surfaced on the 1972 LP titled Garcia and was performed by the American rock band at their July 19, 1989 Wisconsin Alpine Music Theatre date. In the clip, Garcia unleashes an entrancing guitar solo. He originally played each instrument featured on the track, except for the drums--the Dead's very own Bill Kreutzmann manned the kit instead, notes Rolling Stone.

The entire East Troy show sampled hits from Bob Dylan and Merle Haggard and deadhead favorites including "Box of Rain" and "Terrapin Station." The full concert will be shown in theaters via Fathom Events on May 4. The 1989 concert marked the last performance the band would have at that particular venue.

"Since we made the decision to go back to Chicago to say our final goodbye, it has become clear to us that we first need to return to our beginnings, where we first said hello - to each other and to all of you," the band wrote in an open letter to fans.

"Ours wasn't just a long, strange trip - it was a VERY long, VERY strange trip. We weren't sure what it was going to be like to put a punctuation mark on the end of it. None of us anticipated the overwhelming outpouring of love and interest following our initial announcement of the shows at Soldier Field, and we were blown away by the response," the band also wrote.

The remaining members of the Dead will bid adieu on their 50th anniversary festivities and last-ever performances. Three gigs will span Chicago's Soldier Field as well as the Bay Area's Levi's Stadium-all to be featured on pay-per-view. Fellow musicians and companions Trey Anastasio of Phish and Bruce Hornsby will join the Dead on stage this July.
