A handful of cast members from Quentin Tarantino's latest film, The Hateful Eight, have been given a first-look feature on the cover of Entertainment Weekly. Three members of the bountiful star-studded cast, Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell and Jennifer Jason Leigh garnish the magazine cover in promotion of Tarantino's movie.

The bloody western follows an impressive filmography of Django Unchained, Inglourious Basterds, Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs (the list goes on) and re-utilizes one of Tarantino's staple cast members and monologue perfectionists, Samuel L. Jackson. "For me it has more of a Western Iceman Cometh kind of vibe about it," said Tarantino, reports Entertainment Weekly. The newest film takes a hint from the director's primary endeavor, Reservoir Dogs. "A bunch of guys in a room who can't trust each other," he continued. "That wasn't a marching order when I sat down to write the script, but pretty quickly I realized this is kind of a nice coming-full-circle."

With a celebrated cast of Kurt Russell, Samuel L. Jackson, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Channing Tatum, Bruce Dern, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Demián Bichir and Walton Goggins, noted by The Huffington Post, the film confines eight of the west's most dangerous gunslingers together in the midst of a snowstorm, shielded in layers of clothing as well as deception. The Hateful Eight will take small stride away from themes of revenge and inch closer to intimacy although the violence does not waiver.

"I knew Quentin, but I had never had a chance to work with him, and I really wanted to," recalls Leigh in the Entertainment Weekly interview. Leigh almost missed her opportunity when the film's script leaked last January and Tarantino thought he was putting the film on hold. After a live-script performance and script tweaking, the renowned director decided to go fourth with production.

Taratino's The Hateful Eight will see a 70 mm theatrical release on November 13.
