As one of the most successful actors turned singers -- many have tried and failed -- Jamie Foxx's career has been nothing short of remarkable. After several years of focusing on his acting career and playing in some big lead roles for films like Django Unchained and The Amazing Spider-Man 2, the "Blame It" singer appears to be returning to singing with three songs in the last four days. His new single "You Changed Me" sees Foxx return to his hit-making R&B roots with a feature from Chris Brown.

The new tune calls upon Boi-1da and Vinlyz to produce a sultry and sexy beat as the pair croon out sweet nothings to some lover who has forced them to settle down because of the deep love they feel.

Ain't no sense in frontin' when you know I got a thing for you
Ain't no other girls in mind it's me and you baby, I love you
Used to be the kind of n***a never wanna settle down
'Cause you changed me baby

"You Changed Me" comes on the heels of a DJ Mustard-assisted cover of Michael Jackson's classic "PYT" that was released yesterday, March 11. Earlier in the week, Foxx shared a funkier love ballad, "Baby's in Love," featuring Full Speed rapper Kid Ink that took a different spin on what we normally expect from the big hits from the singer-actor.

We have known that Foxx has been plotting a new album for some time, but this recent flurry of activity would suggest that he is gearing up for a big announcement with the album. He could pair it with a new movie role to maximize his buzz, possibly the upcoming Martin Luther King biopic, but stay tuned to find out.
