The currently airing season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians has focused a lot on Kim Kardashian's struggle to get pregnant with a second child. She readily admits to having hated her first pregnancy but now that time has passed she would do anything to go through it all over again to give North West a sibling. We also now know that IVF treatments have been unsuccessful, while wrecking havoc on her body. It's starting to look like Kardashian and Kanye West are now open to the idea of a surrogate to carry a child for them.
According to a report by Us Weekly, the couple hasn't given up hope on Kardashian carrying another child, but they do want to have children close in age. While she once pushed off the idea of hiring a surrogate, the magazine claims that Kardashian and West may begin actively pursuing the option this summer.
Kardashian's struggle with fertility is probably one of the most real things that her family's reality show has ever decided to deal with. It's a bit interesting because for years, she was thought to be the most fake and narcissistic member of the family. Now, she is actually connecting with real issues and also appears to be Bruce Jenner's biggest supporter as he transforms into a woman. Perhaps West really done wonders for more than just Kardashian's wardrobe!
