Vic Mensa has been one of the hottest new rappers in 2015. After getting the co-sign from Kanye West himself and being featured on the upcoming SWISH track, "Wolves" alongside Sia, the SAVEMONEY rapper released his own track with Yeezy as the featured artist titled "U Mad." Mensa was recently snatched up by Roc Nation and the Chicago rapper is starting to show off some of the music that will be released soon. Last night at the Echoplex in Los Angeles, Mensa premiered two tracks -- one with the tireless Skrillex titled "No Chill" and another called "3 AM."

The Skrillex collaboration is probably the most interesting of the two because it shows the resources that Roc Nation is putting behind Mensa. The Recess producer has always been open to working with new artists, especially within hip-hop, and the beat that we can hear relatively sounds like a track he created specifically for Mensa. It would have been nice to hear a little more of Skrillex in the track, which is what made "Wild For The Night" so groundbreaking, but we will see in further iterations of the song how details come together.

There have been rumblings of "No Chill" for some time now. Skrillex shared a photo of him, Dillon Francis, Mensa and two others in the studio two months ago. Dillon Francis wasn't mentioned in the video, but he could come up as a feature when the tune is officially released. Watch Mensa perform "No Chill" below via RTT.

"3 AM" is a much softer track than the more aggressive, trappier "No Chill." Mensa laments the effects of drinking, but if he does it again, he would like you (some fine young woman) to bring a friend if he heads down that path.
