After threatening and assaulting UCLA football coach Jim Mora with a kettlebell, hip-hop entrepreneur Sean Combs, also known as Diddy, has been booked into the Los Angeles Country Sherrif's Department Inmate Reception Center.

After violent incidents on the UCLA campus Monday afternoon, Combs has been charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of making terrorist threats and one count of battery, notes UCLA police. Justin Combs, the rapper's son and a UCLA junior, plays for the football team as a defensive back and has played in seven games with the Bruins. Diddy was present and watching on the sidelines during a strength-and-conditioning exercise as the coach was reportedly "riding Justin, screaming intensely at him," a source told TMZ. The source continued to detail that Diddy went into the coach's office and grabbed him

"Shortly after 12:30 p.m. today, Sean Combs was arrested at UCLA's Acosta Athletic Training Complex on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon, which was a kettlebell," the school's site reports. "No one was seriously injured and UCPD is investigating. Combs is expected to be transported to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Inmate Reception Center later this evening."

"I'm thankful that our staff showed the level of professionalism that they did in handling this situation," Jim Mora said in a statement. "This is an unfortunate incident for all parties involved. While UCPD continues to review this matter, we will let the legal process run its course and refrain from further comment at this time."

Last year, Diddy collaborated with Meek Mill for his first single since Last Train to Paris, "I Want the Love. Most would probably say that attacking someone with a kettlebell isn't delivering the love at all!
