Sean "Diddy" Combs has a new fragrance coming out on May 6 called 3AM, his first new scent in six years. He will promote the new fragrance with a high-profile appearance at Macy's in Herald Square. However, his new ad for the scent is reportedly too racy for Macy's execs, according to Page Six. This almost delayed the perfume's launch because of the need to re-edit explicit scenes with his 28-year-old's girlfriend Cassie.

As Page Six points out, the ad was shot in Los Angeles and included fast-paced scenes the featured nudity, simulated sex and "at least one nipple ring." In the clip (see below) Diddy grabs Cassie's exposed breast while she straddles him and then is shown thrusting between her spread legs. The cops reportedly even came in to break up the shoot after it went past schedule.

"The full-length version includes such provocative images that retailers were concerned about young customers seeing [them]," Page Six's source told them.

"The required edits almost delayed the [fragrance] launch," the source continued. "In an attempt to bypass the censors, Combs tried to get the commercial [out on cable channels], but it was still deemed too racy [by the networks]."

In an interview with Style, Combs explained why he decided to get back into the fragrance game.

"A lot of people that were in the fragrance business before, they're not here anymore, and that's from the celebrity side and the brand side. Fragrance is an extremely hard business," he said, adding that he re-entered the industry, "because the game needs me."

3AM will be available beginning May 6 at macys.com for $55.

Combs also addressed his concept for the racy video in his Style interview.

"The concept for the video represents one of the things that 3 a.m. is for me. It's a very one-on-one time," he explained. "It's a time to have fun and push the envelope a little bit. It's definitely an hour where you would find yourself with a young lady. Anything can happen at 3 a.m., and in the video, you see a fantasy that's in my head of what happened that night."
