With the documentary name mirroring the title of an unreleased Pink Floyd track, the latest film details the life of fleeting front man, Syd Barrett, and it's slated for a a late summer release in 2015.

The singer who passed away in 2006 was responsible for founding the psychedelic rock group in 1965 alongside drummer Nick Mason, bassist Roger Waters and keyboardist Rick Wright. Only after spending three short years in the spotlight, he retreated from fame and the media all together, leaving his group behind.

Directed by Roddy Bogawa, the documentary titled Have You Got It? attempts to uncover hidden truths and provide a deeper look into the singer and guitarist's life, decisions and short-lived music career. According to NME, fans are able to gain a better understanding of the late singer through interviews with surviving members of the band.

Recently talking with Mojo, Bogawa referred the the film as "truly unique," continuing to say it "has an intimate quality that the other films about [Barrett] haven't been able to capture."

While Roger Waters insists placing his focus on work away from Pink Floyd, the band recently debuted their 15th studio album, The Endless River. Floyd's David Gilmour hasn't stopped to rest between the band's LP and his own solo album, Rattle That Lock, a follow-up to his 2006 album, On An Island.
