Prince, who is currently performing a string of pop-up live shows in the UK, is set to appear at this week's Brit Awards. According to a statement on the Brit Awards official website (via NME), he will present the first award of the night along with his band 3rdEyeGirl.

Lorde and Disclosure will be performing at the ceremony Wednesday night at London's O2 Arena along with Pharrell, Arctic Monkeys, Katy Perry, Ellie Goulding, Bruno Mars, Bastille and Rudimental.  As NME notes, the event will be live-streamed on YouTube for the first time.

Arctic Monkeys are nominated for Best British Group and Best Album. David Bowie and James Blake are up against Jake Bugg for British Male Solo Artist. HAIM are up for the International Group award against Kings of Leon, Daft Punk and Arcade Fire. Disclosure and Bastille lead with four nominations each. Click here for a full list of nominations.
