Kylie Jenner's physical appearances have been stirring up a lot of trouble for her -- first the lips and now the hair. Jenner posted a photo of her rocking some cornrows that caused a bit of quarrell on Instagram and led to Amandla Stenberg accusing her of "appropriating black culture."

It all started on Saturday when Kylie Jenner posted a picture on Instagram of her at home with her hair in cornrows, with the caption, "I woke up like disss." This apparently upset many people and they began to wage a cyber war in the comment section. The Hunger Games actress, Amandla Stenberg, was one of those people joining the fray. She left a comment underneath Jenner's picture accusing Jenner of "appropriating black features" when it is convenient for her but not using her celebrity to help bring awareness to black issues. Stenberg wrote, "When u appropriate black features and culture but fail to use ur position of power to help black Americans by directing attention towards ur wigs instead of police brutality or racism #whitegirlsdoitbetter." Jenner must have gotten a glimpse of her comment because she responded back to Stenberg saying, "Mad if I don't. Mad if I do... Go hang with Jaden or something." Jaden Smith is a close friend of Stenberg's but is also someone that Jenner used to hang out with on a regular basis before the lip injections and Tyga scandals, so many commenters were confused by her statement.

Amandla wasn't done trying to make her point. She user her own Instagram account to share a blog post she had written on the double standards that surround black women. While she didn't mention Jenner explicitly in her follow-up post, the timing made it appear that it might be directed at Jenner. In the post, Stenberg writes, "While white women are praised for altering their bodies, plumping their lips, and tanning their skin, black women are shamed although the same features exist on them naturally." She also took to Twitter to defend herself, saying, "End the 'angry black girl' narrative. It's just another attempt to undermine certain perspectives. I have strong opinions. I am not angry."

This is not the first time Stenberg has spoken out about the double standards surrounding black features. Check out this video she made on the subject that went viral back in April called "Don't Cash Crop on My Cornrows."
