Following the release of his latest album, Cherry Bomb, Tyler, The Creator has been hitting the press circuit pretty hard, detailing the process of making the album among other topics. After interviews with PBS's Tavis Smiley and Big Boy, the Odd Future leader chatted with Billboard about his new career strategy and his thoughts on a variety of other topics.

He told the magazine that for the first time in his career he was very focused. "I have the attention span of a f**king rock," he said. "This is the first time I focused."

He went on to say that Cherry Bomb was the album he had always wanted to make and that it is his most personal effort so far. "I living every line on the album. That's why you don't hear depressing sad shit, because I'm f**king happy."

He also addressed his first single "F**king Young/Perfect," which touches on dating someone too young for you.

"I wanted to make a song like Stevie Wonder's Innervisions album. You listen to shit in the '70s, they got to the point," he said. "Although it sounds soft, 'F**king Young' is perverted and weird, but it's true. There was this girl that I liked, and we both had feelings for each other, but there was a five-year difference between us. It weirded me out, so I wrote a song about it."

Tyga and Kylie Jenner are currently facing a similar situation, but although Tyler decided to opt out of dating a younger girl, he thinks people should mind their own business when it comes to Tyga and Jenner.

"People should just leave him alone," he said. "But then again, I don't know why people put everything on social media that nobody has to know. They don't have to put everything out. That girl I'm talking about, I don't let y'all know who it is, but she's out there."

He also spoke about another Jenner, Kendall, whom he cursed out at his Coachella show the first weekend. He clarified that it was just a joke.

"Yeah, that's my n***a. I'm really good friends with her," he explained. "It was literally a joke. Like, if you saw your friend, you'd be like, 'F**k you!' and then go get coffee after."

Elsewhere in the interview, he talked about his Odd Future cohort Earl Sweatshirt, his relationship with Andre 3000, scoring films. Working with Kanye West and Lil Wayne, his bizarre song with Schoolboy Q, his thoughts on TIDAL, launching his own app and magazine, and more. Read the full interview here.
