Eminem and Rihanna are friends with the monster inside of their heads, and now they're going to be friends with each other again on a short tour. After having a No. 1 hit last year with "The Monster," the R&B superstars will be embarking on a short tour together this summer.
According to XXL and Eminem's Twitter, the Real Slim Shady and Rih Rih will be performing together in New York, Los Angeles and Detroit in August. Fittingly, the three-stop trek will be called... The Monster Tour.
Soon after XXL posted the news, Eminem and Rihanna confirmed the short tour on their official Twitters. "NYC/DET/LA this August with @Rihanna@ #TheMonsterTour," Eminem wrote on Feb. 21. "OH IM THERE!!!!!," Rihanna replied.
The Monster Tour is the first time Eminem will be hitting the road in support of his most recent album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, which dropped in November.
Tagging on Rihanna is a solid decision for Eminem. The duo are a well-known winning combination. They've ruled the charts twice with their riveting collaborations, "Love The Way You Lie" in 2010 and 2013's "The Monster."
