While the feud between Meek Mill and Drake has dominated headlines over the past week, the battle between Birdman and Lil Wayne has become one of the biggest stories in hip-hop over the past year. We have heard a lot from Lil Wayne on the matter, but Birdman has kept largely silent, especially since the issue has gone to court. Birdman is now opening up in a special interview with Power 105.1's Angie Martinez who was able to spend time with the Cash Money don at his Miami mansion and dive deep into the issue. The interview won't be aired until 4 p.m. today (July 28), but a preview has been put online.

In the preview, Angie asks Birdman about the possibility of YMCMB disintegrating and what that would mean for the other on the roster including Drake and Nicki Minaj. Baby is adamant that they would stay at the label, saying, "Nicki and Drake ain't goin' nowhere."

For the first time, Birdman actually opens up about how hearing Weezy say all of the negative things about him.

"Not just that and not just for [it to be] him," Birdman says about his falling out with Lil Wayne. "That was shocking to everybody. You never thought Wayne would be saying nothing negative about me in no lifetime. I never thought that could ever happen - for that man to open his mouth and say something negative about me. Sh*t f*cked my day up. I love my son. He mean the world to me. For that man to say something negative about me, that affected my life.

The full interview will be aired online today at 4 p.m.
