The season nine premiere of The Voice is a little under two months away, but fans of the popular NBC singing competition already have a look into what is coming in the new round of shows. Today (July 31), the rumored mentors that are joining coaches Gwen Stefani, Pharrell Williams, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine were announced.

According to US Weekly, Selena Gomez, Brad Paisley, John Fogerty and Missy Elliott will be joining the season nine teams of The Voice in the first round of mentoring. The entertainment news site said that an insider revealed that Gomez will be joining Stefani's team, Paisley will cater to country with Shelton, Fogerty is repping rock with Levine and Elliott will bring the funk to Team Pharrell.

Fogerty, who performed with season eight winner Sawyer Fredericks at the spring 2015 finale, was invited back by Levine, who always wanted to work with the 70-year-old rock legend. Meanwhile, Shelton tapped good friend Paisley to be by his side as he works through his divorce from Miranda Lambert, and Gomez and Elliott have new projects on the line that will surely benefit from The Voice's wide audience.

They will join The Voice during the show's battle rounds, which will come right after the round of blind auditions.

Gomez, Fogerty, Paisley and Elliott join a long list of former The Voice mentors. Ellie Goulding, Alicia Keys, Meghan Trainor, Nick Jonas and more have also catered to the budding singers on the reality show - and that was just last season.

The Voice season nine will premiere on Sept. 21.
