Taylor Swift is making her fans' "Wildest Dreams" come true. In the wee hours of Wednesday morning (Aug. 5), she announced that her fifth 1989 single and follow-up to the No. 1 single "Bad Blood" will be none other than the sexy single "Wildest Dreams."

Swift made the new single announcement on her Twitter, and though details about a radio rollout, music video release or single artwork remain tightly under wraps, it is confirmed that the track will be the next 1989 single at some point.

Though many fans have hoped that "New Romantics" would be the next promo track from 1989, Swift is moving in to a more mature direction with what seems to be her most sensual single to date. Featuring lyrics such as, "I said, 'No one has to know what we do' /His hands are in my hair, his clothes are in my room / And his voice is a familiar sound, nothing lasts forever / But this is getting good now," "Wildest Dreams" marks a long way from the girl who sang about fairytales and friendship.

Swift has seen unprecedented levels of success with her first full pop album 1989, which was released in October 2014. The album has spent 40 weeks in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 and three of its singles ("Shake It Off," "Blank Space," "Bad Blood") have reached No. 1 on the Hot 100. Meanwhile, the album's third single "Style" peaked at No. 6.
