Puff Daddy released the Hype Williams-directed video for his new single with Pharrell, "Finna Get Loose," on Apple MusicBeats 1 host Zane Lowe previewed the video last week, confirming it was a Hype Williams production, and the full video lives up to the standards fans have come to expect from the famed director.

At the end of June, Diddy dropped his first single of the year, "Finna Get Loose," and he did so as Puff Daddy & the Family, reviving the Bad Boy production team of The Hitmen, made up of Chucky Thompson, Deric "D-Dot" Angelettie, Stevie J and Nashiem Myrick, responsible for Bad Boy's unprecedented streak of hit records in the late '90s.

"Finna Get Loose" is something entirely new for Diddy -- or, at least, something fans haven't heard in two decades. The production is entirely removed from hip-hop's current framework, instead sounding like a high-octane B-boy anthem. There's not so much rapping, rather than a barrage of well-timed one liners that weave in between the off-kilter drum breaks.

The video takes us to a raucous underground live show. Dressed in leather jackets and bucket hats, Diddy and Pharrell look right at home in the '80s-style NYC basement club. Most of the video is shot in black and white, with random accents of neon paint.

"Finna Get Lose" is Williams' third video of 2015, following Jodeci's "Every Moment," Jennifer Lopez's "Feel the Light" and Adam Lambert's "Ghost Town."

Diddy had said his next album, MMM, would be out June 29, but it's now August, and he hasn't given us a new date. Last month, Bad Boy songwriter Gizzle let it slip that Puffy's next album, which she's featured on, will be called No Way Out 2. Whatever album comes next, it'll be Puffy's first in five years.
