On the heels of the release of their album Yung Rich NationMigos recently engaged in a brief Twitter beef with fellow Atlanta rapper OG Maco.

XXL Magazine sent out a tweet about a new dance craze called "dabbin'," which has been strongly associated with the ATL trio. Maco then took it upon himself to clarify that it was not Migos who started the craze but rather their close affiliate, Skippa Da Flippa.

"@DaFlippaMan Is In the Migo Family @OGMaco Let's See u Set a Trend!! #Rookie," someone from the group fired back from their collective Twitter account.

OG Maco responded back noting his impact on the rap game and questioning the sales from the group's newly released album.

"Half the rap game has already bit one of my flows or adlibs. Let me see them album sales figures!!!," Maco tweeted.

From there, the exchange went into who's paying Maco's bills and a mention of the currently incarcerated Offset.

Migos and OG Maco are signed to the same label, Quality Control, and were slated to tour together prior to a run-in with the law earlier this year. Back in April, however, it was announced that the tour would be delayed until July.

"Due to circumstances beyond our control we are postponing this tour until July. We want to be at our best and make sure that we give 100% during the Yung Rich Nation tour. We would also like to say 'Thank You' to all of our fans for their love and support," wrote Migos via HotNewHipHop.

Migos were arrested after a show at Georgia Southern University after police found reportedly cocaine, codeine, Oxycontin and other contraband, including handguns.

Their major label debut was released on July 31 featuring standout tracks like "Highway 85," "Street N*gga Sacrifice" and "Trap Funk" along with guest spots by Chris Brown and Young Thug.

As for their social media spat, the dust eventually settled with Maco insisting that he was only giving props to Flippa.

Apparently, Twitter has become OG Maco's new favorite means for sharing his opinion. Just last month, Maco exchanged words with producer Boi-1da after chiming in on Meek Mill's accusations that Drake uses a ghostwriter. Prior to that, Maco sent the #FutureHive into a frenzy when he tweeted that the "Commas" rapper "has destroyed countless lives by making it cool to be a drug addict."

Maco is currently prepping the release of his album, Children of the Rage.
