OG Maco recently took to Twitter to air out some of his grievances against fellow Atlanta rapper Future and some of his lyrical content. Maco sent out tweets saying that the "Commas" rapper "has destroyed countless lives by making it cool to be a drug addict."

Despite the fact that Maco considers himself a fan of Future, he made it clear that he disagrees with rapping about drugs.

On popular tracks such as "56 Nights," Future raps about the use of various types of drugs with lines like, "Molly keep a n*gga motivated / Percocet keep em motivated / Good drank keep a n*gga motivated / Lortabs on my conversation."

In his series of tweets, Maco criticizes the simplicity of making it in the rap game and proceeded to go in on his peers, noting the lack of individuality and prominence of weak mindedness.

He then went on to respond to those questioning the validity of his tweets, namely because of the song "U Guessed It," which catapulted him to fame.

"I manipulated over 40 million minds and counting based on the exact same principles that I'm preaching. Who's more qualified to say this?" he tweeted.

Maco also tweeted several links to a track titled "No Mo," which he uploaded to SoundCloud two months ago.

Future has not publicly responded to OG Maco's tweets.

Maco was featured among XXL's 2015 Freshman class and is currently prepping the release of his forthcoming Children of the Rage album. The project is slated to be released toward the end of the year. Back in May, the newbie Atlanta rapper inked a deal with Motown/Capitol Records.
