Family Guy's Seth MacFarlane is bringing the biggest music event to Rhode Island since the Newport Folk Festival, including performances from Deadmau5, Snoop Dogg, Weird Al Yankovic and more. Unfortunately, this revelry won't take place in real life but you can certainly check it out via the Family Guy: Quest For Stuff app.

The app will also feature guest appearances from Avril Lavigne, Alice Cooper and the ultimate internet comedy musician: Rick Astley. If the promo video for the product is any indication, the app will also feature a performance from a reunited Griffin and Quagmire, the duo's Simon & Garfunkel-esque folk duo.

We're not entirely sure how Quest For Stuff or any of this works (having not played it ourselves) but it looks like you'll be able to play as Avril Lavigne, at least for her set. A listed unlock able character is "rockstar Peter," so we can only imagine where that's heading.

The app was developed by TinyCo. Andrew N. Green, the head of business operations at the company, gave a statement to Social Times:

"The Peterpalooza event in Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff is a great example of how TinyCo is trying to raise the bar in episodic mobile game content," he said. "We do this by integrating top celebrity talent and beloved entertainment IPs into our game updates."
