Little Big Town released a new video for the title track off its 2014 album, Pain Killer, which premiered on CMT Saturday.

The video is a summer fun in the sun kind of a shoot, in which the band is frolicking around on the beach, having a couple drinks and taking a dip in the warm water. The song is a love tune about solving life's problems with the help from a significant other as the band sings on the chorus "You're my pain killer/ a little dose of you goes a long way/ you're my pain killer/ you take it away."

Of course, the song has been out for some time now and appears to be popular at the band's live shows, but this video gives it a new push in a summer when Little Big Town has no new music set for release. However, that hasn't stopped the band from dominating the charts these past few months. The controversial song, "Girl Crush," spent 13 weeks atop the Billboard country charts following the release of the band's music video in April of this year.

"Girl Crush" came under fire from conservative listeners who took issue with a perceived "Gay Agenda," largely for the lyrics "I wanna taste her lips." It's actually about being envious or jealous of the woman who is with the man you want. The song wasn't actually written by Little Big Town, but in a recent interview with the Washington Post, everyone agreed it was a stand out tune on the record.

"There are so many songs that have been written in history, so to come up with an idea and an angle that you haven't heard before is not an easy task," said Jimi Westbrook, guitarist and vocalist for the band, in the interview.
