Rumors that Drake and Serena Williams might be hooking up -- again -- started when the "6 God" was seen in the tennis star's box at this year's Wimbledon. Drake also posted congratulatory pics of Serena on his Instagram after she won the tournament, her 21st Grand Slam singles title. Two months later, now approaching the season's last Grand Slam, the U.S. Open, it's safe to say Drizzy and the world No. 1 are more than just friends. After winning the Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati, Drake and Williams were spotted out on an intimate celebratory date and the pair were getting awfully touchy.

Yesterday (August 24), Williams defeated Simona Halep in straight sets to win back-to-back Cincinnati titles. Not only was Drake in the crowd cheering Serena on, as he was at the Rogers Cup in Toronto the week before, he wined and dined her after the match at one of Cincy's fanciest restaurants.

They had a private room in the restaurant, and were reportedly joined by six others, but the room wasn't private enough, as restaurant-goers were able to catch some snapshots of the two getting awfully close. TMZ has 11 pictures of the superstar couple's touchiest moments, and while the website has verified a makeout sesh, there's not quite irrefutable evidence of any lip-locks. The photos do, however, show some nuzzling, cheek stroking and Drake's face buried in Serena's neck. Head here for the photos.

Drake and Williams have had reported flings in the past, but there hasn't been photo evidence quite like this. In summer 2011, Drake sent out a highly suggestive tweet to Williams and the two were soon pictured together on the court. Drake's initial contact with Williams led to a beef with Chicago rapper Common, who had previously dated the tennis champ.

The beef wasn't quite as sensational as, say, that of Drake and Meek Mill, but Drake was willing to go to war for Williams then, and, now, four years later, the pair seems to be even more of a winning combination. Look out for Drizzy at the U.S. Open, where Williams looks to become the first winner all four Grand Slams in the same calendar year in 27 years. Drake's not doing too badly, either, as his If You're Reading This Its Too Late just became the year's first platinum album
